Refurbished rooms and public areas in 2000. Very close to the centre (walking distance), it is in a quiet location, near a large park. The hotel tends to have a lot of corporate guests so can be a bit more formal in comparison to other hotels of the same quality in the city. SE0405 Exterior: A modern hotel iconic in Auckland Lobby: Large lobby, renovated 2000, with a piano bar on the same level, as well as the signature restaurant -Partington Grill.
Large rooms, tastefully furnished, renovated in early 2000. They include a desk, modem point, mini bar, TV with movies, tea/coffee makers, and hair dryer. Good bathrooms with nice amenities. As part of the changeover from Sheraton to Langham many rooms are being upgraded in 2005.
